Active Storm: Conditions Changing

Last Updated: August 16, 2026, 7:00 AM HST

As Tropical Storm Lala continues to affect our islands, please heed all warnings from official emergency preparedness teams. High winds, flooding, and widespread power outages remain a danger statewide.

Storm impacts have closed many of our stations across the state. Below is a list of temporary closures, provided for your safety and the safety of our team members. Because conditions are changing rapidly, this list may become outdated quickly. We’ll update station openings and closures as soon as we can. Mahalo for your patience. Please stay safe.

Public Safety Instructions

Secure Your Property: bring in loose outdoor items and follow county guidance on shelter and evacuation routes.

Stay Informed: follow updates from local news, the Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency, and your county Civil Defense.

We are in communication with local authorities and will provide updates as they become available.
