Storm Update: All Clear
Last Updated: August 18, 2026, 1:00 PM HST
With all weather advisories now lifted, conditions have returned to normal across most of the Hawaiian Islands following Hurricane Lala.
Recovery efforts are still underway in some communities, particularly on Hawaiʻi Island, where storm impacts have resulted in localized power and connectivity disruptions. First responders and utility crews continue their work, and residents and visitors on Hawaiʻi Island are encouraged to avoid unnecessary travel in impacted areas while road clearing, power restoration, and other recovery efforts continue.
All Texaco in Hawaiʻi stations are open and operating on normal hours. Mahalo to our team for keeping our community fueled and safe through the storm, and to all of you for your patience.
